Join Our Parish Advent Invitation: Waiting Well
This Advent, Nativity invites you to take part in our Parish Advent Invitation—a chance for all of us to journey through the season together with Waiting Well by Fr. Mike Schmitz.
Advent can often feel like a countdown to Christmas, full of busy preparations and long to-do lists. Waiting Well helps us rediscover the beauty of this season as a time of faithful anticipation—an invitation to slow down, reflect, and prepare our hearts to meet Christ in the manger. Through short daily reflections, Scripture passages, and thoughtful questions, Fr. Mike guides us to see how God is working in our waiting and how each moment can draw us closer to Him.
Each book is $5, and you can participate on your own, with a small group, or alongside an “Advent buddy.” Every week will also include a family challenge to help you live out the message of Advent together at home, plus access to weekly videos from Fr. Mike Schmitz that accompany the journal.
We’d love to see our whole parish journey through Advent together—united in prayer, reflection, and joyful expectation. Register by Wednesday, November 12 to guarantee your book. Registration will remain open after that while supplies last. Spanish book are available upon request.
