We have a number of homebound persons who not only hunger forJesus in the Eucharist, but who also hunger for regular companionship and news of the parish. We are in need of volunteers who would lead a short Word & Communion Service in the home and then stay awhile to visit. Some visits may take place on Sundays, others on weekdays. Volunteers must undergo an onboarding process of Safe Environment certification, orientation, commissioning, and shadowing a veteran volunteer. Volunteers often say they receive just as much joy, connection and comfort as they give. Please discern whether the Lord may be calling you to serve in this way.
